Tangy Sweet Corn Snack

Here is a tasty snack which you can do in under 10 minutes. Not only this is delicious it is also healthy as well. Ingredients: 1 - Sweet Corn 1/2 tsp - Fine Pepper Powder 2 tbsp - Butter 1/2 tsp - Chat Masala ( Refer Note below ) 1 tsp - Lemon Juice Salt to taste Remove the corn kernels, put them in a Microwave safe bowl and add some water as shown below so that you can boil it in a Microwave oven. You can Microware this for around 8-10 minutes. Once it is done, gently drain  the excess water and keep it aside.  Into a large wok melt the butter as shown. Once the butter is melted into it add the boiled corn kernels as shown. Gently stir for couple of minutes in a low flame. Now sprinkle Pepper powder, Chat Masala Powder and Salt gently stir it. Plantain Fritters (also known as Banana Bajjis)

Plantain Fritters is a famous evening time snack in Southern India. This is enjoyed for its mild flavour and crispy outer layer and inside smooth plantain slice. People would love to eat this dish served hot when it is raining outside with a cup of coffee or hot tea. Plantain Fritters is popularly called as Balekai Bajji in Kannada, Vazhakkai Bajji in Tamil, Aratikai Bajji in Telugu and so on. Sweet from Bengal: Rasgulla

Rasgulla is a traditional Bengali Sweet. It is appreciated for its smooth texture and the simplicity of the flavour. Often people buy Rasgulla tins from a store, but it is one of sweets which can be made passionately at home. Here is a simple recipe which shows you how to make delicious Rasgulla at home. Ingredients: 1 litre - Milk 2 tbs -  Lemon Juice (or vinegar or citric acid) 1.5 cup - Sugar 1 pinch - Cardamom powder (optional) 4 cups - Water Pour the milk into a large thick vessel and place it on a low flame. Meanwhile grab a stainless steel juice strainer as shown. Avoid using coffee/tea strainers for this job. Cover it with a thin white cotton cloth as shown. Here is a simple easy to do recipe for making restaurant quality healthy homemade clear vegetable soup. If you wish to have something apart from regular salads, you can have this soup which almost gives you similar benefits. You can serve this soup along with grilled meat which your kids will love it and so gives them minimum required daily intake of vegetables. Lemon Tea

  Nothing refreshes your evening with a cup of hot tea. And you can add zing to it by making a Lemon Tea. Lemon Tea is makes a the regular tea a lot more special by enhancing the flavour so that it cuts the mild bitterness and makes it tender and smooth. Take a regular milk pan and add a cup of water. Add a 1 teaspoon of sugar and bring it to a boil. If you wish to add honey, you can skip adding sugar now. Add 1/2 teaspoon of tea leaves. Gently brew it for couple of minutes. Make sure it is in the colour of honey not too dark. Strain the content in a cup (preferably in a Whiskey glass). Whiskey glass is great for lemon tea, since it retains the temperature for longer duration. Squeeze 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice into this. If you are substituting sugar with honey, you can add a teaspoon of honey into it now. Garnish with a sliced lemon. Your hot Lemon Tea is ready to be served !
