Spicy Corn Flake Snack


If you are feeling to eat something spicy and which can be made with readily available items at home in the evening you can do "Spicy corn flake snack". It takes around 5-10 minutes to prepare and served best with Lemon Tea.

The type of corn flakes you can choose can be unflavoured plain corn flakes without sugar in it. Make sure it is very thin and crisp. You can even choose rice flakes, but make sure it is ultra thin. We choose refined ultra thin corn flakes as shown in the picture below:

Ingredients:
Based on the quantity of the serving, you can decide the quantity of the ingredients. Here is a list of ingredients you need:
3-4 - Sliced Green Chillies
Few curry leaves
2 - Chopped Onions
Small bunch of finely chopped Coriander Leaves
5-6 Garlic Cloves
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder  (else use 1/4 tsp pinch of turmeric if the quantity is too less)
2 tsp - Lemon Juice
1/2 cup - Peanuts
3 tbs - vegetable cooking oil
4 cups - Corn flakes
1/2 tsp - Sugar (optional)
Salt to taste



Take a dry vok and pour oil. Add green chillies, onions, garlic and saute in a medium flame for couple of minutes.

Now add peanuts, salt, turmeric and stir for couple of minutes.

Now add sugar (which is optional), add curry leaves and stir for couple of minutes.

In it add Corn flakes and stir for around 1-2 minutes in a low flame, so that it absorbs the flavours and gets the yellow coat on top. Off the flame and add Lemon juice and add Coriander leaves. Stir the contents and serve it hot in a serving bowl.

Garnish with lemon, tomato slices or grated carrot of your choice !

Palak Paneer (Spinach Cottage-cheese curry)

Palak Paneer is a signature North Indian dish. It is one of the simplest vegetarian dishes to prepare as well healthiest.
